Bio

Abigail is a performer, choreographer, administrator, and teacher. She is originally from Long Island, NY. She attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA where she received her bachelor of arts in dance with concentrations in choreography and performance and a business with a concentration in arts administration. She had the opportunity to study abroad in Italy in 2018 and at American Dance Festival in 2019 and it has shaped who she has become as an artist, mover, and collaborator. She has a passion for improvisation and partner work in dance spaces. Abigail’s background in acrobatics drives her aesthetic value for athleticism and stamina in her work. In her undergraduate experience, she has had the opportunity to perform in many mainstage productions and has worked with other students, Muhlenberg faculty, and artists in residence. In addition to her performance experience, she has created original works for three different Muhlenberg productions. Abigail has had the opportunity to teach classes in modern, acro, floorwork, partnering, and improvisation. Most recently, she has presented her work at American Dance Festival and Koresh Dance Come Together Dance Festival and an American College Dance Association conference in Maryland. She has a passion for community outreach through dance. She has brought art into the Durham, NC community through ADF’s hOt sUmMeR pOP uPs and into the Allentown community through Muhlenberg’s Theatre and Dance improvisation group Six Meters, and its locally touring Jazztap Ensemble.
